52. יוסי טען, כי לא שוחח עם אחיו על כספים אלו מעד המדינה, שניתנו לפני שכל פרשת חובותיו נחשפה. עם זאת ציין יוסי, כי זה לחלוטין הגיוני להבנתו שעד המדינה שוחח על כך עם אולמרט, אך הוא אינו יודע זאת:
